Key Responsibilities

1. ROAMING AGREEMENTS AND MAINTENANCE

  • Ensure profitable roaming agreements negotiation, initiation and doing roaming TADIG tests
  • Studies feasibilities of introducing roaming services with other partners
  • Liaises with Telecom Networks and voice & data carriers in establishing roaming services (SS7, DCH, GRX)
  • Ensures that all documentations to international roaming partners are discharged as expected as per the GSMA standards.

2. COMMERCIAL COORDINATION

  • Acts as an Inter-operator focal contact person for all roaming partners, vendors and agencies
  • Lead and coordinate commercial tests and launch roaming services with new partners
  • Provides all roaming information to marketing and sales regarding roaming services roll-out

3. REPORTING AND DATA ANALYSIS

  • Responsible for maintaining data records for the department and for the preparation of monthly reports
  • Creates and maintains monthly, quarterly and annually roaming statistical information for planning purposes
  • Processes and compile statistics for determination of roaming services considering financial benefits, routing capacities and related costs
  • Presents roaming traffic trends and analysis for strategic plans by management

4. ROAMING REVENUE ASSURANCE

  • Authenticates monthly DCH (Data Clearing House) and FCH (Financial Clearing Houses) invoices to verify any billing disparities
  • Liaises with the approved DCHs to verify all updates, charges and payments

5. ROAMING REVENUE ASSURANCE

  • Provides technical guidance on QoS (Quality of Service) Monitoring and reporting
  • Ensures NRTRDE (Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange) file flow, troubleshooting and analysis
  • Roaming HUR (High Usage Reports) flow, analysis and reporting
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly functionality tests
  • Roaming revenue analysis by service
  • Daily TAP file validation, monitoring and processing
  • Handle all daily operational matters from operators roamers Support internal teams with external information, and vice versa

 

Education

  • Degree in IT, Technical or Commercial discipline.
  • Telecom background will be an added advantage
  • A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
  • Working knowledge and understanding of GSM technology


Experience 

  • At least 2 to 5 Years of work experience
